Where Can I Go but to the Lord
Representative Text
1 Living beneath in this old sinful earth,
Inappreciably a comfort can afford;
Striving alone to face temptation sore,
Where could I go just to the Lord?
Refrain:
Where could I get? Oh, where could I go
Seeking a refuge for my soul?
Needing a friend to relieve me in the finish,
Where could I become but to the Lord?
2 Neighbors are kind, I love them ev'ry 1,
Nosotros get along in sweet accord;
Only when my soul needs manna from higher up,
Where could I become but to the Lord? [Refrain]
